The Unova region takes over Simplified Chinese Pokémon this November. Pokémon China has announced that the new expansions Black Bolt（黑雷奔流）and White Flare（白焰迸涌） launch on November 6, 2026, leading a wave of products that pair booster packs with something the TCG does not offer often: a full collectible coin programme.
The coin sets
The headline retail products are the Black Bolt Coin Set and White Flare Coin Set (¥39 suggested retail price in China). Each set contains:
- 3 booster packs of the matching expansion (5 cards per pack)
- 1 selected holo card, drawn from 78 possible cards — including 6 RR Pokémon, with the C/U/R cards appearing in either a Poké Ball pattern or a rare Master Ball pattern version (produced at a 99:1 ratio)
- 1 themed coin matching the selected card’s Pokémon — each coin comes in 3 finishes, including a hidden gold version
Energy sets and coin storage
Eight Black & White Energy Sets (¥39 each) cover the eight energy types. Each contains 3 booster packs — Black Bolt packs in the Grass, Lightning, Fighting and Steel sets; White Flare packs in the Fire, Water, Psychic and Darkness sets — plus a special energy pack holding new-illustration Basic Energy cards and a random Trainer holo.
For collectors who go after the coins themselves, two coin albums launch the same day (Zekrom cover for Black Bolt, Reshiram cover for White Flare, ¥40 each, 30 coin slots), and a 156-slot coin display frame covering every Unova Pokémon coin has also been announced, with price and release details still to come.
