Pokémon China has announced the next release in one of its most collector-friendly lines: Pokémon Gem Pack Vol. 7 goes on sale in mainland China on November 6, 2026 — and for retailers outside China, it is one of the easiest Simplified Chinese products to explain, display and sell.

What is Gem Pack?
Gem Pack is a Simplified Chinese exclusive series built purely for collectors. Every pack contains 4 holographic cards, and every Pokémon featured in the set appears in several different foil treatments — including energy-type pattern foils, Master Ball pattern foils and Gem Pack logo-stamped foils. There are no “dead” packs: whatever your customer opens, it shines.
In China, a single pack carries a suggested retail price of just ¥10, which makes Vol. 7 an accessible entry point for new collectors and a natural add-on purchase next to bigger boxes.
The headline card: Misty’s Psyduck
Vol. 7 is themed around Psyduck, and its most talked-about card is a brand-new illustration holo of Misty’s Psyduck — Psyduck lounging on a beach chair, holding up a beach ball. Every featured Pokémon in the set receives its own illustration holo card, and the set also includes a range of cards showing Trainers together with their partner Pokémon, a theme that has performed very well with collectors in recent Simplified Chinese releases.
A matching accessory launches the same day: a compact Gem Pack Vol. 7 Psyduck collection album with 30 single-pocket pages (¥15 suggested retail price in China), designed for storing Gem Pack cards.
Why stock it in your store?
- Exclusive to Simplified Chinese. Gem Pack is not released in English or Japanese, so it gives your customers something they cannot buy from their usual local distributor.
- Proven format. Six volumes in, Gem Pack has an established collector base that actively hunts the Master Ball pattern variants.
- Made for breaks and bundles. All-holo packs open well on stream, and the low per-pack price makes Vol. 7 easy to bundle with albums and other sealed products.
